OVERVIEW
From Darjeeling You will drive down to a small village called Dhotrey via Manebhanjan. Morning at 6 a.m. our guide and driver will pickup from your hotel Darjeeling You will drive down to a small village called Dhotrey via Manebhanjan. Dhotrey is located at an altitude of 8,500 ft. It takes about 2.5 hours to reach Dhotrey from Darjeeling by car we have breakfast here later Your trek will start from here through Deep forest and beautiful rhododendron welcome you to enter into next place called Tonglu. The Distance from Dhotrey to Tonglu 6 km. Tonglu is located at an altitude of 10,130 ft. On a clear day, you get magnificent view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks from Tonglu. And if the sky is clear blue, you can even see Mt. Everest. After has great view of Mountain range again we start little down walk through full of herbs and small plants forward to reach Tumbling, 2 km This is where you take lunch. Tumling too offers wonderful views of Kanchenjunga. From Tumling it’s all downhill trek towards Chitrey. You will pass by small villages along the way like Meghma (about 4kms from Tumling) and Lamhaydhura (further 3 kms). Your final destination is Chitrey, which is another 3 kms away. At Chitrey we meet, our driver here return to Darjeeling.
